Anti-Abuse Policy for .Apple

As the registry operator for the .Apple TLD, Apple is committed to prevent, identify and resolve uses of any .Apple ___domain name it considers abusive. 

Abuse of a ___domain name can take many forms, but it generally refers to the use of a ___domain name to cause harm to Internet users. 

To protect Internet users from the abusive use of .Apple ___domain names, Apple reserves the right to deny, lock, suspend, or cancel any ___domain name registration or transaction, or cancel or place any .Apple ___domain name(s) on registry lock, hold or similar status, for any of these non-exclusive reasons:

  • to protect the integrity and stability of the .Apple registry.
  • to comply with any applicable laws, government rules or requirements, or any dispute resolution process.
  • to avoid any liability, civil or criminal, on the part of Apple, as well as its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, and employees.
  • to correct mistakes made by Apple or any registrar in connection with a .Apple ___domain name registration.
