- In Shailendra Singh's Kache Din, multiple award winner and India's most beloved theater and film actor, Deepak Dobriyal gives a gripping performance as a migrant taxi driver, barely earning enough to eat on the unfinished, congested streets of Mumbai City. While trying to keep a distance, but ultimately getting pulled in to the lives of his passengers, he also has a run in with a police officer, played by the indelible Yashpal Sharma. Late at night, he shares a harrowing encounter with a slick pimp, Ashrut Jain, and his lady of the night, Teena Singh. A lunch box left behind in the cab leads him to a life-changing encounter the next morning. "It's called the Maximum City," says Shailendra, "but Mumbai is still a work in progress. The taxi driver knows that each of his passengers is just trying to get by in this struggle of a life, just like he is. They are all just like the city they live in, a little bit raw."
- Sunshine Music Tours And Travels is a 2016 Indian comedy-drama road film, directed by Shailendra Singh and produced by Hayre Entertainment and Percept Pictures. Besides being Singh's directorial debut after producing 74 films in Bollywood, the film is also the world's first music festival -brand fictional film. The film features an ensemble cast of debutantes, including the lead being played by Sunny Kaushal, the son of veteran action director Sham Kaushal and younger brother of Bollywood actor, Vicky Kaushal. The film was extensively shot in Kashmir, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahemdabad and Goa, while using real time footage of the Sunburn festival of 2015. The story follows the life of two young boys, Sunburn and Rajma Romeo, living in the hills of Kashmir. Orphaned at birth, the boys have been brought up by a dhaba owner, Sardar Sodhi, and have spent their entire lives working at the dhaba. Sunburn, named by Sodhi after his obsession with the music festival of Sunburn, has dreamt of only one thing in his entire life- attending the Sunburn festival in Goa. But without money, without any help, Goa seems like a far fetched dream. His best friend, Rajma Romeo, then cracks a master plan, of creating a fake tour company, named 'Sunshine Music Tours and Travels'. With the help of social media, the news of their company spreads like wildfire in all of India. And with that starts the roadtrip of a lifetime, from Kashmir to Delhi, Jaipur, Ahemdabad and then eventually Goa. Enroute, the boys are joined by different people, who come on board the bus with the same agenda.
