Boy this show is a filthy sitcom with great action bits. Cena's comedic timing is at the top of its game. Gunn takes his time to give us little nuggets of plot building on the season arc mystery. And for all the dumb haters criticizing the supposed wokeness of the show (as if racial, body and sexual diversity was an afterthought!) Gunn fires on all cylinders at racism in the best and genuine way considering his show stars a red white and blue meat head. Plus you have to love the Louis C. K. references when Peacemaker has shown us every parts of his anatomy except his P. If you've seen Blockers, you must be wondering if Cena had an exhibitionist tendency though!
Shout out also to Freddie Stroma who came a long way since his Hogwarts days. Great great show.
Awkward team dynamics are cranked up to eleven, with Peacemaker's, shall we say, unique personality clashing hilariously with the rest of the black ops squad. We get more of John Cena's surprisingly nuanced comedic performance, blending macho bravado with moments of genuine vulnerability (sprinkled with a healthy dose of ridiculous dance moves, naturally).
Expect questionable training exercises, even more questionable life advice, and a cliffhanger that leaves you wondering just how bizarre this peacemaking mission is about to get. It's a glorious trainwreck of awkwardness and action, and I'm absolutely here for it!

- WissenswertesVigilante and Peacemaker's target practice with Peacemaker was inspired by James Gunn's childhood in Missouri, when he and his friends used explosives to blow up things.
- PatzerAuggie Smith (Robert Patrick) is not really hand-cuffed when he's arrested at his home. When put into the police car, he uses a free hand to steady himself on the seat.
- Zitate
Vigilante: Do you think I feel good when after some dude does some atrocious act, that I have to kill them?
Christopher Smith: I don't know...
Vigilante: When I find out someone murdered an innocent person, or sold somebody heroin, or did some graffiti, and I kill that person with my bare hands, their eyeballs popping out of their skulls... You think THAT gives ME pleasure?
Vigilante: [sighs] No...
Vigilante: Well, it does!
[laughs]
Vigilante: It gives you pleasure too, Peacemaker, that's cause we are born killers! What separates us from the other killers, is we only kill bad people. Usually... Unless there's a mistake! Now, do I sound like a fucking maniac?
- Crazy CreditsAt the end of the credits, there is more of the scene shown from when Evan and Amber Calcaterra were at the police station selecting photos of who kidnapped them.
