Life of Baylen - Ich ticke anders!

I just finished the first episode of Baylen Out Loud. I've came across some of her videos on tik tok before in the past. Miss Baylen absolutely radiates such beautiful and loving energy. I can't tell you how invested I was in not only listening to her educate me on her struggles, but to engage with how she has to live every single day with this illness. The whole time I'm putting myself in her shoes and feeling her emotions alongside her. It completely shatters me on the inside to observe and listen to the invasive, cruel mistreatment of other humans towards this beautiful human. She deserves so much better. Being her age, I completely understand the need for my independence. I feel for her sister, Sammi, specifically when they gathered at Harpers Ferry, her anger and protectiveness for her sister I can feel. I can feel her blood boiling through the screen. I truly know what it feels to be ready anytime to go toe to toe with anyone trying to hurt someone I love. Sammi, you are valid to want to crash out on everyone. I see you girl. I wish Baylen all the luck in this very cruel world and hope she doesn't let the ugliness of other humans dim the light that is her soul.

When I first heard about this show, I thought why are they exploiting this girl's TS? I honestly did not want to watch because of that one reason. The more it was advertised, it started to get to my curiosity. Only 2 episodes in and it's more than just Baylen and the TS, it's how the family is coping with it, how she handles things we take for granted, like cooking or getting from point A to point B. It's making me cheer her on in her quest to get a handle on her tics and make it on her own. And if anyone reading this knows her, please tell her she's got cameras around her and that could be another reason people are looking.

I appreciate the way this show LITERALLY is an example of, no matter what an individual family member is dealing with, how to be a safe and loving place!!! Imagine a world full of parents who can navigate uncertain waters with the kind of support, love and especially humor that these parents do!! Baylen.... (Who I know will probably not see this) I just wanna say that you are so brave sharing your story and also that you're probably the most realist and hysterical person I've ever seen on tv. Also watch out, your little brother is a HAM! And a show stealer!! Someone get that kid his own show!!!! He's so funny!!!!!!!!!

Baylen just seems like such a kind soul. I have already learned so much from just a few episodes, not only is it educating but entertaining. I highly encourage anyone who doesnt know much, or anything at all, about Tourette's syndrome to watch, or maybe if youre just curious like myself and want to know more. We could all learn so much from her, from how to be patient with yourself, to be a little more understanding to a stranger. I hope that this show helps others going through the same feel less alone, and I hope Baylen sees how adored she already is. I cannot wait to see her grow, and to learn more things from her.

I've been following Baylen on TikTok for a really long time and I truly loved getting to see her interact up close and personal with her family and boyfriend. I can't imagine what it must be like for all of them. Her siblings all seem sweet and supportive and it's obvious Baylen is a sweet girl who is eager for independence. My heart breaks every time they show her out in public. I have adult children and can empathize with the parents wanting to protect her from that as well as wanting her to stay home so they can keep her safe. I think everyone should watch this to educate themselves on Tourette's Syndrome. One episode in and I'm hooked - cannot wait to find out what happens when Collin receives his orders and Baylen moves out!
