I went with my brother Benjamin to the cinema to see "28 years later" on the release day (20th June).
What a MASTERPIECE of movie!!
For me, the BEST movie of the saga "28" (days/weeks/years).
I'm speechless!!
A GREAT combination of the beauty of the environment (with those wonderful and beautiful green forest) and the powerful of the story.
Powerful and very EMOTIVE at the same time!
The beauty of the images, the power of the scenes, the story so inspiring...
All the characters are sooo interesting and the actors did an AMAZING work.
Specially my dearest Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
He ALWAYS give us the BEST performances. He can do ALL that he wants: romantic roles, charming, funny, fighter or energetic characters or powerful warriors. And his Jamie of "28 years later" has all these.
The force he brings to his character Jamie touching my soul.
I loved Jamie from the first second and I can't wait for enjoy again in the next parts of the movie.
The father-son relationship is BRILLIANT and the journey (physically and internally) of their characters is veeeery intersting and inspiring!
Is a PLEASURE be your fan, Aaron, because is sooo easy fall in love with your INFINITE TALENT and all your works. You always put all your heart in all your movies and the result is SPECTACULAR: wonderful characters that catch us TOTALLY.
THANKS SO MUCH for give us always the BEST things!
I always say: any movie with Aaron on it, is QUALITY GUARANTEE.
And CONGRATS too for this new talented artist Alfie Williams. What a MAGNIFICENT work he did! The evolution of Spike is amazing.
He will have a incredible career and very success in the future because he has so many talent.
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED this powerful movie!
There isn't a second without interest.
ALL the movie, from the first second to the last, is important, interesting and catch us COMPLETELY.
CONGRATS for this great movie and his wonderful story.
I wish all successes for this incredible movie because is TOTALLY deserved!

This film was a mixed bag. I really enjoyed the first half of the film, was building nicely I thought and was half expecting the small island to be drowning with the infected soon enough. But then the film took a complete 180' turn and went in a radically different direction, which I have to admit I didn't really enjoy.
As usual, I'll highlight the good and bad of the movie.
The good
The start was thrilling, and as I said above the first half of the film really gripped me. I enjoyed watching the son and father go out onto the mainland, and liked both their characters ( although the father was a bit of a scumbag! )
I thought the acting was superb throughout by all the cast. Especially the father and Spikey.
I liked the music and some of the scenery and visuals were dazzling.
OK and now onto the bad...
I thought the concept of the poem reading and then clips of medieval war times was good in theory, but in practice it seemed odd at the point it came on in the movie. I think if this was at the start of the movie it would have been much better.
What was the deal with the person with the creepy mask on? Kept seeing it throughout the movie but then the film didn't go anywhere with it, seems kinda pointless....
The complete change in direction of the movie halfway through didn't land with me, unfortunately. I found the second half of the movie boring and tedious.
The whole thing of the doctor cremating Spikey's mother and then handing him her freshly cooked skull just came across as really weird and strange for me. Maybe other people found it profound, I did not. In fact I remember watching it and thinking wtf is this ?
Also have to mention the ridiculous scene on the train with the baby. Its another scene which was meant I guess to be incredibly profound but I found it just really silly to be honest. What did the infected brainless woman somehow regain humanity as she was giving birth? Giving birth to a perfectly normal baby by the way, that's odd the bloaters have weird infected babies but the normal infected don't ?
That's pretty much it to be honest. I left the cinema feeling massively underwhelmed. I will mention the ending, I actually laughed and found it surprisingly rather cool!
