Mild marijuana use, including smoking and edibles. Sometimes played for laughs, but consequences and punishment are shown. Underage drug use is shown to be a bad thing and not at all glorified.

One episode (Nip In The Bud) revolves around Alex vaping at a concert. There is a scene of drug use, weed is shown not lit, a weed mascot simulates using weed with a weed shaped pillow

There are some references to pot, weed, vaping, bongs, joints, buds, cocaine and getting high

For now nothing really intense.

The mother is a war veteran and is struggling with her mental health in the aftermath.

Characters deal with racism, homophobia, and sexism.
