This movie is reminiscent of an old detective story from the 1970s. Like a cop going around trying to solve a crime while being on leave for doing something bad on the job, like Dirty Harry. It includes the over-the-top tough guy dialogue as well.
The plot is ok, but man the dialogue and the weird actors/background make it seem really amateurish. And then you realize why. Yeah, this is not the US, it's Italy. After seeing a sign on a building that says "PortMobility", I Googled it and found it in Rome. Not the US.
Hence, a Spaghetti detective story, made in italy!
The clues were all the weird accents. A TV reporter with an Italian accent, the cop with a weird accent. The European cars in the background. And no discernible landmark from the US. Not to mention the weird Police uniforms, they looked like some Eastern European uniforms, not American cop uniforms. While driving Euro cop cars.
It was a weird movie overall. Which was kind of surprising since it had a couple well known actors.
If you're bored and can stream it for free, do it just to see how many hints you can notice that it's Italy.

So the movie starts with the FBI trying to entrap some poor 3rd world schmuck. They give him a bomb and tell him to blow up a building, then arrest him when he starts to do it.
That's entrapment. If it wouldn't have happened without the FBI's involvement, that's entrapment.
Then we move on to the main part of the film where the main character again, is trying to entrap supremacists into doing something horrific. Again, it's entrapment when you incite and encourage an act to happen. But somehow the movie portrays this as a victory. Er, okay.
The acting was horrible. And I had to laugh about the dangerous music whenever the Klan was doing something. I guess just to let us know, they are really, really evil. And not just some regular folk with some stupid ideas. They are apparently, spawn of the devil; based on the music.
I was hoping it was going to go the direction of showing how horrible the FBI is, like how they entrapped men in an attempt to kidnap Michigan's governor.
But no, it went the direction of "white supremacists are the worst danger to American society" and then glorified an FBI agent who spurred, incited and even gave material support to the supremacists, then became the hero at the end for entrapping them.
God awful movie. But still entertaining. Not a 1-star.

I have to laugh at the reviews because they all seem to have the same response I had. The "WTF was that?".
Mainly because the movie carries you thru Jolene's life with it's ups and downs, and all the men she marries, 4 in total. And their demises or problems. Then at the end...when you're waiting for the conclusion, with some kind of meaning and resolution....nothing.
It's like they ran out of money or ran out of ideas and just ended the movie.
I liked the movie in general, it was pretty entertaining, but it's hard to appreciate it when you're cheated at the end.
IMHO, the whole premise seems to have been, Jolene is an idiot. She chose horrible men to marry. And was a giant floozy. And the ending was basically "see, she's a dummy, the end".
