They almost got it perfect, except for the squabbling at the beginning. The parents, wealthy, are having a wedding anniversary party at their secluded home, and have invited their children and significant others to the celebration. At the meal, they start introducing each other to the newcomers, which results in a lot of talking over each other. That becomes annoying, and more like children do. As things progress, suddenly one of them gets hit by a crossbow arrow, and more arrows follow. This becomes an unexpected happening, and it seems things have been quite well planned out. Everyone is under attack, and it could come even from within the house. The parents got the house, and it was his desire to make it his fixer-upper. But when they first arrive, the door is unlocked. Perhaps the workmen who are actually doing all the work, left it unlocked, and the killers got in. Once the killing starts, none of them seem to be able to do anything but scream, and no one takes charge. This doesn't help matters, and the criminals are well organized, and it isn't known how many there are. Killings are brutal and the criminals also had set up a cell phone jammer, so no one can call out. Once things start to settle down, it gets really interesting and tense. The criminals all wear rabbit head masks. Not everyone seems to throw up their hands accepting their fate, or hoping for some type of rescue, so who will be the hero? And why is this happening. Also, a neighbor was brutally killed, so this may be more widespread. The company who made the blender may be in trouble, for not warning a blender is not to be used as shown in the movie.

The first hour of the movie is very good. Viola Davis really carries the movie. The G20 Summit is held at a secure mountain top resort in South Africa. Security is tight. However, it is betrayed from the inside, and the criminals are led by a rouge military person who has the idea of getting rich by discrediting world currencies, so people will switch to crypto. The execution of the coup is done quite well, and shows detailed planning. And a level of ruthlessness. Perhaps the most interesting part was having world leaders say a string of random words, that can be stitched together by AI to seem as if it actually came from that person. So when it is broadcast, it is not easy to refute it is a deepfake. The problem with the movie is that it showed the President (Viola Davis) as being very smart until she wasn't. And that is about the one hour point. Then it seemed every cliche in the book was thrown into the movie. To the point it not only became annoying, it started being out of character.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for this movie. At the start, it stated 25 years of movies by the Asylum. At the beginning, it was really low quality, poor special effects, and laughable scripts. Since then, some amazingly almost decent movies have come for Asylum. However, this movie harkens back to its roots. It is the sloppiness of the movie that really detracts. There is a passenger plane, shown in the air, and then on the ground, after the crash. Apparently the landing took off all the paint, and made it look like an abandoned fuselage. And rescue crews apparently working on the natural disaster in Seattle were from Germany, based on the words on the back of the uniform. Feuerwehr, meaning fire department. One has a woman who is in charge of earthquake monitoring, and her husband is in the military, and her brother is no where to be found, after leaving a top secret government project, but he holds the key to solving the life ending disaster that happened when a mission went wrong. Oh, and her daughter was on the plane that crashed. Fortunately I was able to stream this movie, so I could take frequent breaks to get away from the nonsense. I am giving it three stars as the fault lies with the budget and the script, not the performances.
