And there were some REALLY good ones. The Tales of the Super Specs [(deep voice) I don't think they'll be bothering you anymore], Midnight Madness, Pinball Wizard, Magician's Assistant, Bookish Babysitter, Renegade Virus, and even the Phone Police; all of these are classics!!
The two movies have almost nothing in common, so stop comparing a brilliant movie to this snore-fest. And definitely don't say that BWP ripped this crap off in any way. This isn't even a found footage movie, it's a faux documentary and a cheesy one that gets progressively worse and worse until the terrible ending. Three stars because the idea, in theory, was okay, and the acting is halfway decent. But I want to take those stars away for the annoying narration and horrible second half.
