Occasional subplots are ok but this show has degraded into who sleeps with who being the whole focus! If I wanted to watch that on TV, I would watch a stupid reality show or DVR a soap opera. It's a shame because the potential for a really good show about fires is out there...but not in this mess.

A couple of the actors hold their own...others aren't given the chance to move on from exhausting romances. I'm sure it's possible to come up with storylines other than who is in or out of love?

I was watching faithfully because I enjoyed Theirot's work in the past...but the plots have dug into a mired pit of emotion.

Supernatural was my favorite show of all time! I watched and rewatched every episode. This series has the opportunity to carry on, but the costuming and makeup need to rep the time period more authentically. John just got back from Vietnam and in the military with long hair? Female characters have today's squared off fat eyebrows? Black females have long braids? No... On the other side...acting is very good, authentic and enjoyable. Scenery great and mood effective. As to scripting: John needs to get more authoritarian or Jeffrey Dean Morgan will rise up!

I wish the show all the best and will continue to watch, of course.
