This film is intriguing because it has sci-fi aspects mingled with mental health and relationships. The theme seems to be about cherishing those whom we love and not wasting any time doing otherwise and spending as much energy as we can on our friends and family. Time is precious, people are a treasure.

I hoped it would be a bit more fantasy and otherworldly, but it's mainly just about an alien who helps people come to terms with pain and sadness. The story implies that aliens from K-PAX share a common agenda to become more emotional and to experience feelings. It seems their species lacks emotion and attachment. That's what I gleaned from it.

A good once over, nothing more, although I saw it 20 years ago and I forgot most of it.

I was a young man when this film came out. It was way ahead of its time, quirky silly, hilarious, and featuring one of my favorite SNL greats. Sandler has put out some really weird stuff, but Happy Gilmore still shines. He looks so young in this, it's been almost 30 years?? Seems like 10. I probably saw this a dozen times back then, don't remember most of those viewings, because they were accompanied by lots of partying and other debaucherous activities in my youthful days. Movies like this and Something About Mary and shows like Friends and 90210 were on the menu in those days of fun. Suffice it to say, I didn't really focus on the audiovisual entertainment as much as the other fun stuff.

Classic film, proudly birthed by gen-x ingenuity. I hear part 2 is coming soon!

Another Hallmark reality series, except this one I can actually stomach. The reason I like it is because there are several Hallmark stars on this cruise with a bunch of fans and they are mingling for days on end. Let the family reality drama begin.

I did not know what to expect from this sort of reality series, because the actors and actresses are actually interspersed with all these fans on this boat and they're conversing and hugging and taking selfies and it's really weird. Let's face it celebrities don't usually fraternize with the commoners quite like they do on this cruise and I find it fascinating. And they got some of the really popular stars, not just average ones.

Hallmark actors are more beloved, in my opinion, than the usual red carpet celebrities, because they are so prolific in their movie appearances, and who doesn't love a good Hallmark movie? It's a franchise full of really popular and very beloved performers with a massive cult fan base.
