Very clever and well acted movie, a large cast that work well in a credible way that makes you seriously think what other major happenings are never known by the public at large. Mel's acting as a good detective carefully investigating each lead. The tension and the unexpected is what makes the script clever. This is more than a detective story. Superb acting Recommend first for the acting , second for the script.. unique and unexpected storyline.; and, third it's a satisfying watch. Only downside, will you ever trust the news channels? The big companies are possibly all monsters. And, despite our inkling and proven exposes of corruption in high places nothing changes. So let's hope there is a heaven and a hell haha.

Off putting bedroom scenes that were unnecessary. I nearly turned off but thought the film may get better but didn't. The characters were rather odd not your usual recognizable types, i thought i'd enjoy the settings but there was little to see.

The plot lacked credibility as did the main characters behaviour. What was the point of the film was lost, maybe it was about how some deal with loss by looking miserable.

Beginning to realise the old movies are best as this modern stuff is simply not entertaining or gripping.. Waste of time. The ending was as puzzling as why this film was made and how they got it to the screens,

Good acting, great scenery, and, amusing characters. A love story and comedy. Great fun. Enjoyable film. John Wayne is entertaining and a pleasure to watch.

Wasn't too keen on the female lead whether it was her acting or the direction I am not sure. Her staring and wide eyed dumbness was a bit off-putting.

A sweet film that captures life in rural Ireland in the 50s. Set in a village not far from the coast , green meadows, rivers and stone cottages makes a good promotion for visiting Ireland A family movie, though, some people may be offended by the stereotypes, and, the hard drinking.
