The Women of Charmed

This is a TV show that offers an escape from reality. Does it deliver? Certainly. Does it offer story lines that include both family values, that dips into realms only dreamed of? Yes. This show doesn't pretend to be "Law & Order" (insert your favorite 'uptight' show name here...) and we don't pretend to be watching shows like that when we are watching "Charmed." This is a show that can make people happy; it can give people hope in the future, either real or imagined. Honestly, isn't that all that is really needed? I mean, how many 'reality' shows do you have to see before you concur that there are a lot of people out there that are just plain miserable and unhappy? If "Charmed" can make you smile, then I say, "GO FOR IT!!!!"

This is a fabulous fantasy drama with aspects that appeal to almost everybody: family values, hope in the future, belief in innate goodness. Just sit back and enjoy!!!! :)

The women of Charmed is awesome! Alyssa looked oh so cute and pretty and Shannen was her usual awesome self. As for Holly, she was just being Holly. This is a cute special, however it would've been better if they had more scenes together. I personally think that the KTLA News Special was way cuter and better..but this is amazing in its own right.

i think that charmed wasn't really that good when it had Prue in it. But with Paige its better not being mean to all you Prue fans its just better now. Most of the 3 seasons Prue was in was all about her no one else so now its spread out equally. Charmed is a really good t.v show to watch the special effects are really good. The characters are so real its great. It shows a typical family except for the witch part and the fighting demons bit. But its great to see the combination of demons,warlocks,witch's and mortals its just a great show to watch. I wouldn't say it hooks you but if you are in to supernatural things like witch's and things this is a show for you. charmed is a really good show you'll be sorry for missing just one episode.

my wife is a fanatic as regards this show. That being the case I bought her seasons one through three and season four is on order. I personally think the show is one big farce the cast is equally bad. Alyssa Milano should have stuck to the other trash movies she made such as Poison Ivy, Embrace of the Vampire to name a few, the other female supporting cast members are equally inept in their portrayals. I've seen better special effects in the old Republic Pictures serials I saw as a child. I can understand why the male leads remained on the show for such short periods of time even though I don't know if it was their own choosing or not. Please. please don't renew for another season as enough is enough, Bob

Charmed is fun. I don't see these 3 women as "sluts:" at all. They seem like fairly normal young Californian Americans -- just a little on the "wild" side, though. They remind me of "hippie" girls from some of the bars in Berkeley. They do appear a little too free and "loose" to us stodgy Midwesterners, however.

I must say, however, that the clothing fashions and color schemes are horrid . Phoebe in particular -- she sometimes is positively garish! In the episode where Phoebe attends a charity ball, she wears an evening gown that shows her bare legs up to the thigh. The other women were dressed in modern, tasteful costumes. She just looked cheap -- like somebody dressed like a carnival floozy! Pru, Piper, and Paige wear clothes that are more tasteful -- at least the color clashes do not hurt the eyes!
