As a huge fan of Black Mirror, I was really looking forward to this episode, but it ended up being quite a disappointment. The idea and storyline were just okay, nothing particularly groundbreaking or memorable. However, what really ruined the episode for me was the acting by Issa. It felt like she had never acted before, and her performance was so unconvincing that it completely took me out of the story. I was left wondering if she had any prior acting experience because it certainly didn't seem like it. Given the high standards set by previous Black Mirror episodes, especially in season 7, I expected much better casting choices. All the other episodes in this season were quite good, with the exception of episode 3, which unfortunately fell flat.
The second episodes continues where the first one left off, bad acting, terrible writing, average dialogue and 50min of nothing really happening. Reis acting is awful trying to play a tough cop continuously making comments about 'white boys' just doesn't work on any level not to mention the cringeworthy sex scenes in episode 1. This whole show so far is just mediocre and nothing remotely close to the quality of season 1 & 3. I'm hoping it's improves as I unlikely to finish the season at this rate. There's some hints at a decent show in there somewhere if they can stop focusing on everything other than the main story line.
Apart from the lame story line and CGI from the 90's, the worst thing about The Flash is the actor Ezra Miller.....he is just dreadful in this movie and every single lame jokes in the film fall flat on it's face and not surprising with comedy genius like 'come on barbie, let's go party' lines. Just when I thought he couldn't get more annoying you get a double dose of Ezra whereby he become virtually unwatchable and he essentially ruins the entire movie himself. Michael Keaton and Super Girl try hard to save this cluster of a movie but unfortunately it's not enough to give this film anything over 5 stars.
