The Good:
The Not So Good:
Ps: If you liked Meghann Fahy in this definitely watch her in the movies Drop and Your Monster, she's great in both, and quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses :)
- Julianne Moore is so so great in everything she has ever done
- Michaela's three groupie ladies were so funny
- how is Kevin Bacon 66 years old?? 😳
- good acting
- Meghann Fahy's fancy dress shopping
- cozy one day/ rainy day binge you don't have to think too much about or pay too much attention to
The Not So Good:
- why was it so.. fuzzy looking??
- honestly could've been 3-4 eps not 5
- could've been.. twistier?

Not me having a crush on Chef since the moment he hit the screen and then....
Also at the beginning when Willard is crashing out and punches the mirror my brain went That was real that's real blood, then toward the end when Brando has the crazy monologue my brain went He's ad-libbing tf out of this, just saying whatever... And turns out I was right about both ;)
But seriously this is one of the most stunning movies I've ever watched. I somehow found myself sat on the floor staring up at the tv with my jaw dropped for 2 1/2 hours. I truly don't know how the film was even accomplished. Sheer brilliance.

I'm sat speechless in the dark, and will go to bed soon, but this movie will stay with me for days. A no-build up, no sugar-coating, start right up bleak unflinching account of some of the cruelest acts in human history. Oliver Jackson-Cohen was incredible, the pain in his eyes was evident in every frame, I swear I could barely move the whole film. I just don't know how the real subjects of the film managed. How you muster that strength. Directing and cinematography was stunning, Score was beautiful, I don't pretend to know how anything works but I hope awards season shines on this film. 10/10.
