The world today isn't exactly something that gives you hope for the future.

This movie is about a time when humans are (seemingly) gone. So in that way, it doesn't really give you hope either.

But...

Earth isn't just humans. It's full of animals that sometimes just live together in some sort of harmony. Granted. This movie makes it seem like it's so easy for them to live together across species. That part is somewhat silly. But the movie is done in a way that the animals are somewhat humanized. And the way they interact together gives me a bit of hope for earth. Not humans. Earth will be fine. As for humans, that remains to be seen.

But this movie is a small wonder that will make you smile and enjoy about 1½ hour of happiness.

I don't usually write many reviews on IMDb, but in this case I feel I got to.

If you avoid a lot of Indian movies because you hate dancing and singing in movies, well you could be me. Many a times I've started watching an Indian movie, only for it to be with typical Bollywood scenes of choreographed singing and dancing. I hate it. Do I respect it? Of course, there's a market for it and that's ok. It's just not for me.

So when I first saw the trailer for this I was intrigued. Would they somehow still include singing and dancing? Well, I'm happy to report that the answer is NO.

This is a totally over-the-top action flick with brutal action sequences and no holds barred. You want broken limbs? Check! Crazy stabbings? Check! Heads smashed into smithereens? Check! Some effects are obviously CGI, and some scenes are a bit cringe worthy (insert obligatory romantic scenes, sigh) but man, this was a ride.

The story is average, and the acting as such is a bit too much. But the action is crazy good. Highly recommended if you like The Raid or action movies like Tony Jaa does. Perhaps the best Indian action movie I've ever seen.

The trailer showed some promise. The whole background laid the foundation for what could have been an interesting story. But this ended up being rather terrible.

It went from showing promise to be a bit of a let down, then rather boring and then eventually just a waste of time.

Oh and the FIVE MINUTE sex-scene was simply too much. I'm okay with a sex-scene in a movie, but this was dragging on for far too long. Sure, it was probably to show they were all high as kites on the local drug, but really, it could have been cut 90% and still give the same impression.

The ending left me very dissatisfied. There could have been a great thriller in this, complete with nice twist. But no.
