Hillary tells Ian she might be pregnant. Ian goes by to tell Cal but finds him in a four way. Thom hooks up with his book agent. Jeremy navigates being a dad to Sam.

Drama rama at Doug and Quincy's wedding rehearsal. Ian got picked up by a guy at a pub and ran into an ex-girlfriend at his place. Jeremy and Sam went to couple counseling session.

Partly what happened to Thom and Cal in NYC is revealed. Ian begins to explore his gay feelings now that he is single.

Quincy introduces Douglas to his mom. Ian tries labeling his relationship with Lindy. Jeremy and Derrick have a difficult conversation.

Cal lunches with his parents and gets drunk when told they are getting back together. Ian brings Vardan as his date to Doug and Quincy's wedding. Thom is about to propose when Cal beats him to it.

After a difficult night, Thom leaves to end things with Jeremy while his partner Cal calls his friend Kathy to talk about their respective relationships.

Cal tries to drink his worries away, but Thom is taking things even worse direction. Kathy's boyfriend is introduced to them.

Cal talks to Jeremy to make sense about his relationship to Thom. He ends up messing things up even more. Conversation with Ian makes Kathy worry less.

Cal and Thom take Cal's mother Val to lunch where she drinks too much. Afterwards Jeremy shows up where Cal works. Kathy finds out Ian has dated other Asian women.

Thom asks Jeremy to stop calling him while Cal lets Kathy unburden herself when she learns she's pregnant. Quincy tells Ian they need to be cordial for Kathy's sake.

Cal lets things go too far with his boss Paul, causing him to forget to pickup Kathy at the clinic. Thom goes to get her but finds out what occurred. Quincy brings Ian along on his date with David which becomes awkward.

A flashback to the day Cal and Thom moved in together with Kathy and Ian coming over to help them unpack.

Thom moves out on Cal, heading over to spend time with Jeremy. Ian is resentful of Kathy's decision leaving her to get together with Cal, who only wants to feel sorry for himself and drink.

Thom discovers more about Jeremy while Kathy and Ian discuss their feelings and future together. Kathy heads over to Cal's to motivate him, later Thom shows up, he and Cal talk about what went wrong.

Thom and Cal have an unexpected experience together. Calvin's sister comes to visit him.

Cal and Thom take Trevor to Douglas and Quincy's Bastille Day party. Kathy meets up with everyone to stay goodbye.

The night before. Cal and Thom take Trevor to Douglas (Willam Belli) and Quincy's (Stephen Guarino) Bastille Day party. It's Kathy's (Constance Wu) last night in town, and she and Ian go to meet the guys there to say goodbye before everything implodes.

After Cal's handsome boss Paul (Sean Maher) makes a pass at him, Quincy and Douglas grill Cal and Thom about the terms of their relationship. Bri and V (Vera Miao) make plans for their wedding, while Vera begins seeing Ian. Hillary goes looking for a job and begins seeing Ian too. Cal and Thom proceed to sleep their way through all of Silver Lake.

Tom and Cal make an emergency trip to the free clinic. Hillary takes Ian to look at apartments, driving him into Vera's arms. Jeremy and Derik babysit the kids during Bri and V's lesbian bridal shower, and Bri becomes suspicious that Vera is seeing someone else.

Jeremy visits Thom on his bartending shift. Cal gets drunk with Paul instead of picking Kathy up at her doctor appointment. Quincy babysits Ian.

Carl's mother comes into town to attend his new gallery show. Douglas wonders why Quincey downplays their relationship to their co-workers.
