Avis à la une
Michael (Terrence J) and Candace (Regina Hall) are getting married in Las Vegas. Their friends and family are gathering for some last singles fun. Best man Cedric (Kevin Hart) is desperate to push the guys to go crazy. The girls are trying to get rid of Michael's controlling mother.
This sequel lives off of the charms and the connection of its talented cast. There is nothing new or all that interesting. It does have the great cast and they seem to have fun together. That joy of being together helps keep this movie afloat. The highlight is a strip club and the subsequent jail time. I don't really care about their various melodramas or the wedding. Non of it ever feels that dire. Quite frankly, this movie missed an opportunity to have a fun jailhouse wedding and quickly wrapping up the movie after getting out. This is fine but it may be last call for this group.

I went to see "Think Like A Man Too" last night with a friend of mine. I won't lie, I thought it was going to be some stereotyped "black" movie, and the few white guys that were in it would be the butt of the jokes, and worse, that the "nigga" word would be thrown around like I see it, on occasion, between a few brothers on Facebook, and hear, constantly, in conversations around my very diverse apartment neighborhood and overhear among some African American Soldiers. (I hate the use of that word, no matter who says it to whom, and will not watch movies that dialog it. just sayin'.)
But I digress...Instead of the movies that I have attempted to watch, on occasion, that were what I described above, I found, although this movie could classify as a "Chick-Flick," Think Like A Man Too was really, really funny and very tastefully done. Very little cussing and the one "n-word" uttered in the movie is on a phone call and is barely audible.
This is a great funny movie that really does treat everybody right, the way it should be. Kevin Hart kills his role. Excellent movie for everyone. and unlike one of the reviews I read that said "if you are white and a dude you probably won't get it," All I can say to that is, Wrong. :-)

I never saw the first Think Like a Man(2012), but I enjoyed the sequel, If you are expecting The Hangover(2009) meets Bridesmaid(2011) from what you saw in the trailers, Well it kind of is, but it does not quite go there. This film is only for a entertaining ride, and for anybody just to sit back and forget about your problems.
Kevin Hart was better here then he was in About Last Night, any scenes he is in, he milks it for all it worth. But the rest of the cast are pretty memorable also, the men and ladies really bring it all here. The Las Vegas scene is also good, and becomes it's own character. There are also some good dramatic moments. See this movie with friends, and I hope you have good time.

2014 seems to be a good year for Sequels to out due the originals.
Then again, I didn't like Think Like a Man to begin with. The film is no different than The Transformers movie, It's made to sell a product, in this case a book. Because of this, the movie about the war of the sexes always leans more towards women, who the self help book is for, whereas if the roles were reverse it would have been a differently laid out plot altogether.
This is possibly why I like this movie better, because the product is not there to sell, the movie becomes a more fairer battle of the sexes. The Story of the ensemble cast coming to Vegas for a Wedding which starts with a Bachelor and Bachelorette party in which each sex tries to prove who can party harder starts off on a level playing field with out the interference of the book.
Although, like the first film you do have to deal with the interference of Mr. Kevin Hart. He was just so funny, that the men already won the battle before it started. I don't know if he could not be the center of Hilarious, even if he tried.
With that said, the movie is a very stereotypical last hooray set in Vegas, which was too by the numbers for me. I've seen it done just as formulated but a little funnier. Kevin hart is great, but I feel like I did not get more from the characters this time around, and it was not a great enough of a party to forgive that.
Overall, still better than the first,

I never review movies, but this one was so bad that I'm writing this as soon as I got home. I didn't expect much, but I knew that there were some well known actors in this movie. I found that Kevin Hart's character was so obnoxious and that the only good part of the movie was the 30 seconds piece with Drake.
I NOT recommend this to anyone--even if they're a Kevin Hart fan. If you like comedies like 22 jump street or the neighbors, you would be wasting your time by going to see this movie as it does NOT compare what so ever.
I am so upset with what I saw and I regret seeing it.
