I read all the reviews across the board and it seems that everyone is split between people totally disliking it and people liking this show. I'm in between here. The actors are good and the dialogue is good as well. There's a good bit of drama and action as well throughout the series, but the problem is series doesn't have a true identity in my opinion and that's what puts it in a middle ground for me. Is this a story about Bumpy? Mayme? Adam Powell? Malcolm x? Stella? The series just bounces around to many character storylines some seem just for filler and do almost nothing to progress the show. I also find that all the storylines outside of Bumpys are just not entertaining. Had this show just specifically focused on him and the gang families boy oh boy it would've done numbers. But I think people just can't get behind the other random storylines like me. I hope season 4 changes it.

When I saw the amount of great actors in this as well as the trailer I thought I was going to be in for a treat. Man oh man was I wrong. While it isn't worst movie I ever seen its pretty bad on quite few levels. Which is shame because it had to the ability to be good.

First lets start with the acting. The only actor I thought did excellent was Theo Rossi he played an excellent villian and was highly entertaining throughout. Not much good be said about his supporting cast. Bruce was as wood as ever and phoned in another cash grab. Mike Tyson looked out of place completely. Thomas jane was boring or choppy. Lastly Clive Standan was ok but I just don't feel he was convincing in hero like role.

Second the low budget on this movie was greatly showing at times. Some scenes characters would find out things out of the blue with no direction from anyone else. Scenes would go from light outside to dark immediately. Plus cheap looking fire fights and action.

Last but not least the story while done millions of times before as whole was ok. But it could been lot better, I felt that the plot was confusing to begin with and therefore set the odd tone throughout. It needed to be better executed.

Overall is this worth a watch? Once Id say yes if you're looking to kill time. But outside of that avoid recommending or watching this with other people.

Honestly this was one of the worst movies I've seen in awhile. It was draggy, boring, and low budget. On top of the fact that the entire movie is in just one ___location. Jake gives his best effort as always, which is why this is rated a 2 instead of 1 but other than that nothing here is good. Avoid at all costs.
