This episode was a bit of a slow burn. I mean that in a good way. Aside from the typical per-episode murder case, there are other story lines ongoing. It has a surprise ending, in a way, and it's a good thing.
Without trying to spoil anything, from the start, there is good resolution between a few sets of characters in this episode. Additionally, a former character makes a reappearance. This comes as a surprise, but a welcome one. In the end, this episode had me tearing up. I personally think this episode should be rated more highly than it is. Not that anyone is watching a standalone episode, but this one is very good.

This was a really great resolution to this storyline that was introduced in the first half of the season.
One thing I love about the Netflix seasons is that they've given Linda so much more to do and much more depth to her character, than just Lucifer's therapist who knows about celestial stuff.
Not only was that plot line really well done and emotional, but there was so many emotional scenes, and can I just say that D. B Woodside (Amenadiel) has done an incredible job this season! His scenes are just so powerful.
Also am glad about the return of a certain other character (won't spoil), and can't wait to see where that ending will lead.

For this episode I ended up being bored for the majority of the time watching it, it's not without merit though, when it goes for action it does well and same with comedy, I think that it had some good emotional moments, but for me it's all a bit slow paced, I know other people are absolutely fine with slower paced stories but my low attention span can't deal with all this exposition between characters, but other than that it was ok.
This is one of the best episodes of Lucifer I've watched. The plot is intense at all times, the resolution is clever, the dialogue is top notch, and the payoff is huge.
