First of all someone wrote : "Worst movie ever?" I'm wondering if he really watched this movie. Anyway REC2 really did it for me,I was so looking forward to seeing this sequel and after reading some IMDb reviews I was thinking...boy I hope this wont be major let down.

And it wasn't! From the first minute to the last it was a thrill ride.I saw some excellent camera work, some really impressive effects and some top acting.

After i watched the first one,i was asking myself :"How did it start? What really happened?" Well in REC2 you get all the answers.

REC 2 creatively transforms a zombie movie into a different genre and challenges our preconceptions about zombies. Besides, it is more exciting and frightening than REC because there are more actions and more points of view. In addition, the teenage boy plays his role convincingly and the ending is unpredictable.

Another movie, Paranormal Activity, was also shot with a shaky camera from the first person's point of view. I personally find it less impressive than both REC and REC 2, which require the audience to think after viewing.

Before watching REC 2, everyone SHOULD watch REC first. May I also kindly remind you to beware of spoilers in discussion forums before you watch it? Enjoy this compelling roller coaster ride! 4 / 5

A few weeks ago I was reading some horrible reviews about Rec 2. So when I came to see it myself, I wasn't expecting the same genius that the original adorned. It turns out I shouldn't have taken any notice of the reviews. What do people want? This was a fantastic film! Some of the best direction I've seen in horror, and it just got better as time went on. The conversation scene between the priest and the possessed boy was visually terrifying! The only bad thing about this film was the overly-shaky camera at some points. However, the majority of the film was brilliantly directed. I've followed horror for many years, and this is one of the best I've seen. It's even better than the original Rec - and, as far as I'm concerned, that's really saying something.

Absolutely love this film. I thought after the first one, this would die down a little, but it didn't. It takes place seconds after the first one and still has all the amazing feelings the first film did. The scare factor is a total ten out of ten in this film. I caught myself jumping just sitting at home in pure daylight. The action was great and not too over the top. The cast was really good and really believable in their parts. You also get to see what happens to some of the characters from the first film. The zombies were creepy and not over done make up wise. That gave the film more of a real feel to it. Now the story was intense and amazing. Questions from the first film are answered and you will find out things you still can't believe. Also the film sets itself up for a third. A new feature in this film from the first is the use of many cameras. The first had the reporter's camera which filmed regular and night vision. This camera is brought back in the second along with a military high def camera that can switch to sub cameras planted on the soldiers helmets. There is also a small camcorder as well. There isn't much more I can really say about this film, you will just have to see it for yourself.

First off I can't believe the sense of excitement I had after watching this film, as with the first one but much more powerful. Im still pumping with adreneling half hour later.

It follows on from the first one and so glad it did, because it gives you more of the story and more (much more) shocks and infected, demonic mayhem.

*SPOILER It starts off with the army on the way to the quarrantined building, from the first instalment (with a more stable camera). As soon as they reach the building and enter, all hell breaks loose. With the firefighters and the rest of the crew now infected with the virus.

This movie is much more chaotic than the first one, with a great pace. Slowing down and speeding up at the right times, so you can both absorb the events and get a rush equally.

The ending (I thought) was better than The Exorcist and had me gripped (which is rare for me).

A solid 10 from an extreme horror fan.

Summary: The movie continues immediately where the first part has left off. A group of special forces under the leadership of a guy from Health Department enter the building from Part 1 to look for survivors.

Review: One of the fastest movies I ever saw. The movie starts on a slow pace then speeds it up and gives the viewer hardly a pause during the rest. You're glued to the screen, one scene following the other, suspense and action have you totally captivated. Excellent movie, one of the best in years. It's not as heavy on the zombie side as the first part, still recommendable to zombie fans though.

i made an account just to review this movie. and to all the hardcore horror fans out there that like found footage films like VHS, paranormal activity, grave encounters... this film is for you. It's full of suspense! the first one was amazing but this sequel really made me horrified. I don't usually give low-budget horror movies a try but the cast and crew really gave their all to make a horror movie. I would definitely put this movie on one of the top notch found footage movies like VHS. the storyline just meshes well with the first one and makes it a plausible film to watch. the shooting of first-person makes it feel like your on a roller coaster ride of a horror video game!

blown away? scared? edge of my seat? yup this movie ticks all the freaking boxes!! wow what a nightmare journey, takes off where the first movie left off. first movie was very good, this one looks like it had a bit more backing and a bit more cash, and as a consequence is a heck of a lot better without taking away from the first...you don't have to seen the first don't worry, it's like a scene setter to this horror masterpiece...so it's in the style of cloverfield, diary of the dead etc... but it's just relentless and never pauses for breath, takes you down some spooky avenues and sojourns, and leaves you gasping! four rotten thumbs and a severed head up!

This one had me more in tune than the first and I'm guessing it was because of the whole religious aspect. I totally recommend seeing this movie, I've never seen one like it. My only wish is that there was more of an explanation on the whole hidden things in the dark aspect because it's just so freaking cool and I would've loved to know more.

I dont think why most people give this film a 4/10 or less. maybe you just don't understand where the movie bring you.

the first one. REC. the movie want you to know how the virus can spread to the entire person in the apartment, with a little history about the virus when the reporter and the camera man reach the attic. they let us know about the virus just from the newspaper in the wall and a tape. so that's make the audience curious.

then the second one. REC 2. they dont tell you about the spread of the virus again. they tell you about the history of the virus and how to end that massive tragedy. with the pastor knew about the virus, the movie want you to think about how the movie will go. with the connection between the first movie, this movie will make you an "einstein" if you can understand it. the plot, describe how creative is the writer(s).

and talk about the jumpscare of this movie. there are some good jumpscare that make me pause the movie though.

overall this movie is worth to watch with your friends and family
