J'Accuse!

Absolutely gut wrenching revelations about the truth of what happened to the Jews of Lithuania. Very throughly researched and documented and presented. Essential viewing particularly in this time of extraordinary levels of hate. This a movie that unravels what was always suspected but now know for sure - how Jews were tortured and murdered in the most horrific, horrific ways imaginable and their amazing communities utterly destroyed. Over 96% were murdered. A direct charge against horrific crimes perpetrated in Lithuania. One needs to watch this movie to understand how the truth can be systematically covered up. Watch and learn.

This film should be compulsory viewing for all government and legal officials in Lithuania and the EU more widely. However well informed you may be about WWII and the apparent subject of this film, expect to be astonished by its revelations, not least about what's happening currently. From every aspect, it is impossible to praise those behind this multi-award winning documentary too highly. This horrifying and deeply disturbing story is clearly and beautifully told.

At a time when so many are concerned about the dishonest rewriting of history for political purposes, when mass war crimes have returned to Europe based on false history, Lithuania is teaching the world how to cover up mass murder with lies, by mobilising society at every level.

Imagine if Zelensky was found to have been erecting statues of mass murderer Nazi facilitators all over Ukraine, praising them all as national heroes while ignoring the deafening calls for accountability what America, Israel, and the world would really think of him today? This is what is happening in Lithuania today by their government. Silvia Foti and Grant Gochin expose the sinister truth not only of a gruesome holocaust history but the present day holocaust distortion that threatens the democratic future of the State of Lithuania. Impossible to ignore, Michael Kretzmer's film doesn't merely document history, it makes history.

Powerful documentary in which a courageous woman uncovers the darkest "secrets" of her legendary Lithuanian grandfather. She joins forces with a grandson of Lithuanian Jews to confront the current Lithuanian people and challenge them to redeem the sins of their ancestors. The horrific brutality of the criminals didn't shock me- nothing about the Holocaust does anymore :( What was revelatory was the continued coverup, fraudulent presentation, and even celebration of the criminals that is still going on today. One hopes this masterful film will be the sunlight that serves as a powerful disinfectant. May the names of the martyred victims be forever a blessing. May the Lithuanians of today be inspired to stand up for truth, transparency, and real heroism.

Excellent film, very well executed. It's important to be a voice of innocent people murdered by fake state heroes. More must be done for Lithuania's government to accept the collaborative attitude of Latvians. It's an absolute disgrace that the EU; Brussels has not only accepted this country to the EU but gives money to an antisemitic country that prefers to live in denial than face the dark past.

Also, we must be grateful for people like Sophia who found the courage to bring her grandfather's actions to light.

The difficult relationship between Noreika's granddaughter Sophia and the grandchild of the victim blossomed and it's worth remembering that there are grandchildren of the murders who are decent people and will try to make a difference in the world that is still full of hatred.

Revisionist history is a serious issue that must be addressed. It's a very powerful film. Thus should be a part of educational curriculum.

Never forget is only valid when there is a clear strong proactive action.
