The Stand

Oh! My! that was painful. CGI is awful! Its a good thing there is only onw more episode left though what is the point in the last episode?? There is little left to be show, awful script, editing, casting. As said after episode 1 you could instantly tell the show would bomb.

I kept an open mind the first 2 episodes when I did my first reveiw and decided to do my last reveiw this episode as there is no point in waiting for the last. This whole mini series was god awful. Especially if you've read the book and seen the 90's version. The only thing that kept it entertaining was being able to compare the 3. The storyline was butchered. Which ultimately reveals a way bigger problem that's been getting more obvious in Hollywood all the time. This new generation of Writers, Producers, and Directors are getting worse by the year. Case in point some of these actors are well known and shouldve been an all star cast. But the "ReWriters", Directors, and Producers brought out the worst in them. And The Stand. :(

I was so looking forward to this show ever since it was announced. I have read the source material and watched the original mini-series and I was kind of expecting that this would bring in a lot more details and depth to the characters and the story. Instead, it was such a painful experience. A truly missed opportunity to have an awesome show

This one has some good action with people getting blown, ripped n decapitated. It even has a blink n u miss nudity. But i dont understand one thing, the people in Vegas are not worshipping Flagg, the people are not shown doing extreme immoral stuff but they still suffer the wrath.

I really wanted to like this but it was so bad. Started off ordinary and got progressively worse each episode. I was excited when Alexander skarsgard was cast, I think he did the most he could with what was given. The overall casting was good, acting very decent too- but the script was terrible and the disjointedness of the show left me completely uncaring about the characters. So very sad. Just watch the old 70s version, this was pathetic.
