Watching through todays eyes the drink driving, kidnapping, sexism etc comes across as dated and hasn't aged well.

Having seen it at the cinema when it was first released I have more rounded view of the time in which it was made.

It's a little bit disjointed and the script is fairly weak although not as weak as the sequel.

All in all if you take it for what it is a time capsule of a time long gone when having fun wasn't so seriously scrutinised and considered less offensive.

This can't seriously have any connection to Day of the Dead.....stupid characters who do everything you wouldn't do during a zombie apocalypse.

At least on SYFY you know what you're getting with 3 headed mega sharknado...
