Prior to joining the cast of Strega per amore (1965) in the second season as Dr. Bellows' wife, Amanda Bellows, she appeared in the first season episode Is There an Extra Jeannie in the House? (1966) as magician's assistant "Myrt", whom Capt. Roger Healey mistook for Jeannie's cousin.

Best known for her role of "Mrs. Amanda Bellows" on the TV show Strega per amore (1965).

She was reportedly scheduled to become a semi-regular cast member on Tre cuori in affitto (1976) after she had guest-starred in a couple of episodes in the role of Chrissy's boss, J.C. Braddock. But that changed when Suzanne Somers was released from the show.

She played caring wives and helpmates, and did marry in real life.

Even though the censors made sure that Jeannie's belly button was never seen, Mrs Bellows belly button is clearly seen on the beach scene from Hawaii.

She went to Hollywood in the early 1950s and found her way into the choruses of several musicals. Producers began noticing, however, that her comedy skills were superior to her singing.

Creator Sidney Sheldon mentioned in an interview that Henry was a good actress who was easy to work with. A casting director brought her in to audition and to meet him. Sheldon tested her and based on the screen test she got the part of Mrs. Bellows.

Originally, Henry never intended to become an actress, for she had wanted to become a singer. By her teens she was appearing on local radio.
