This is for lovers of character driven films. It's an understated drama about boxing that flies by due to solid performances, gripping cinematography, and tight editing. This project was recently nominated by the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) for best student film. Results will be known by the end of June.

This culminates in the revelation that a pair of ghosts, ROBERT and MARGE occupy the residence. Though the ghosts clearly dislike the new occupants, Jess and Zach take this as a good omen. Jess and Zach beg the ghosts to help haunt their haunted house to which Robert and Marge take even more offense, and refuse the offer. Through trial and error, the humans attempt to scare the ghosts into helping them, though nothing works. At her breaking point, Jess destroys the ghost's picture frame, leading them into a fit of rage in which they resort to their supernatural powers. Impressed by their abilities, the humans flatter the ghosts into working with them, and the haunted house is a success.

As their ritual continues the horror of their situation becomes more and more apparent. The piece ends with a profession of love and a new respect for the dead.

'Neither Shadow of Turning' is the story of Poulum (pronounced Pooh-lum) an awkward little girl, bullied because of her unusual visual impairment. To fill the void of loneliness she creates make-believe playmates (shadows). Poulum's only keepsake of her deceased mom, is thrown deep into the 'Forbidden Forest'. We journey into the woods through Poulum's mind and so does her shadow playmates.
