Richard Cocciante adapted the French song "Le Refuge" by François Bernheim as Il Mio Rifugio and sang it also playing the piano.
The screenplay is inspired by the quiz radio show Le Jeu des mille francs hosted for 30 years from a different ___location 5 days a week by Lucien Jeunesse. Jeuness didn't like the image the film gave of his type of work.
