A few times, we see different parts of a flashback scene: a man threatens a woman with a gun then shoots her in the chest (we see her lying on the floor with blood on her chest and face); while she's still alive, another man performs CPR on her and gets blood on his hands and clothing.

Some cigarette smoking; in fact, protagonist is a chain smoker.

The main character is alcoholic, there are bar scenes.
