Almost nothing happens for like 80mns, it drags n drags, wasted my time, had potential, just look at a movie like Hush. If people like it, fine, I didn't.

Ben Shapiro trash talks Hollywood ( rightfully so ), then goes onto make the same if not worse garbage.

Bad father, bad husband, no good man, broke man, druggie man, bad white child predator man, violent gun wielding man, abusive man... Woman reformed perfect human, caring loving mother.... Did I mention Bad father?

I agree with Ben on a lot of matters. For a man full of rehearsed statistics he's way off on this one.

This shouldn't even qualify as a movie. Just boring boring BORING sequence of shots. Unrealistic characters that make unreasonable decisions. Total amateur work. One of the worst movies I have EVER seen.

From the awful acting to the god awful pace . The lack of sense and the terrible choices the lead takes is really annoying. Everything was bad now that I think about it . Zero suspense , zero interest but lots of utter boringness!! Please don't watch this crap 💩

My review title explain it totally. Just stay away. Its look like collage project. No actual story, no acting skill, no direction. Just they need to make a movie, and they made it. Also where is today's trend globalization? :P No black, no Asian, no Indian, no LGBT. Ah shame shame!

Absolutely ridiculous dumb dumb stupid girl digs through floor instead of the door to the pantry some other idiot locked her in. If you're looking for a movie to tear up real bad this is a good one.

What happens when you sit through an entire movie, hopping, praying (pun intended), that it's a metaphor and will have some plausible explanation in the end, but it's just a terrible "a la fox movies" movie?

Brutal cliche. Nothing new. Awful. Every horror trope imaginable packed into disaster. Total waste of time and money. Who would ever pay good money to watch this dreck?

This film really disturbed me, not just from the diabolical acting, terrible writing and equally as bad direction, but the use of a baby and very young child used in truly disturbing scenes, of which they would not know that it was "just pretend".

The parents of these so called "child actors" should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm amazed that in this day and age children are not safeguarded at all within such films.

The story drags on and on and you think it's never going to end.

The woman lead makes so many bad choices you end up shouting at the screen.

Such a stupid movie, don't believe the 10 star reviews because they're lying. I watched this movie because of all the tens and found out the hard way it's not worth a single star. I f I could rate zero stars I would.

With just 4 actors in this abomination you would think that the director would expand a little bit and create some action scenes or intense drama scenes. Half of the movie is this woman crying and shouting through the locked door of the pantry.

Come on. Nothing makes sense, the door is flimsy, the acting is boring and the whole thing gets extremely boring after 5 mins. Skipped ahead, then again and again as this lady can't seem to escape and battles her inner demons. The ending is painfully poor and the audience is left with a wtf did I just watch. Viewers remorse.

Shut in was just a whole bunch of nothing. Just the lead lady doing a dialogue with herself and with her daughter behind the door, the mother just tries efforts to leave the place she was locked in. Yes it's appropriate name for Shut in but was shut out for me as it was a terrible borefest from start to a dismal finish. It's only a thriller in paper because nothing happens here that makes it a thriller. Took my precious time to watch it & boy was I displeased. Was even hoping for something remotely like 'Alone' at least that had some horror in the woods, this on the other hand was a 'thriller in the house' It was in all honesty another snooze fest with the lead lady Rainey feeding off scraps to act in the movie. And even the ending. Why did that happen earlier in the flick like the producers wanted to put that under the rug all of a sudden. Credible ending but still didn't save the movie in my eyes for a 'thriller'

Before this movie say no to drugs After say yes to drugs Scenes in this movie just make no sense at all.

Evil bad man terrorizes brave feminazi, who is stuck in pantry and must fight back. All men are bad and women are brave warriors. This movie also hates white people.

I joined to watch a 2022 movie shut in.. to find out I will be notified when it's available. And doesn't say what date that may or may not be.. very disappointed i spent what little free time I get thinking I would relax and watch a. Movie. Don't advertise if u don't have or don't have a release date. . Another thing I said what I needed to say but now to get my complaint to u I have to continue to be a Karen to reach 600 words. . Get your shut together, I was done with this conversation like 400 +words ago. So submit that into ur data bank of how to make your life better. And have a nice day.
