Did not think this was good. The main flaw I felt was the characters, none of them likable and none with any common sense in their thoughts or realistic logic to their actions. It lacked tension or suspense and I wasn't really bothered when it tried. I kept watching because it seemed to have potential to get better... but no.

Aside from the lack of acting skills of the lead actress (or do we say 'actor' these days?), there was also the frustrating lack of belief that anyone attending Cambridge would be so utterly stupid ! Just because a professor goes off for a few days, she HAS to track him down - like catching a flight to Ireland. Then acts like a simpering kid who can't let anything be for the rest of the time.

In essence be thankful its only 4 episodes.

I was quite surprised when seeing this show that it only had 4 episodes and yet was not titled as a mini series which you would normally expect wh3n there is no season2! However in some respects it was a blessing in disguise there was only 4 episodes as it was a fairly weak story generally,Emmet Scanlan is an actor I like he's gone a long way since his days playing in Hollyoaks yet why they seem to cast men with beards to play university professors is mind boggling to me do they consider a beard gives an impression of intelligence? I don't know the actress who played Ophelia and so it is hard to judge her acting abilities given that the script was so poor and unbelievable for her part I mean seriously who after stalking their lover all the way to Ireland and on arrival arrives at the funeral of her lovers wife decides to not only stay in her home but within hours thinks it's ok to wear the dead woman's clothes no matter how cold I was Not happening his clothes ok but the dead wife's! All in all without giving the silly plot away I found the story weak unimaginative and a bit boring . Harmless to watch and only 4 episodes to put up with so if nothing else is on......
