Behavior among the characters is now wildly out of character just so we can see a 'strong, brave girl.' Ugh. Hateful stuff. Deviates wildly from the consistent characters built in the far better season 1. Is this group of seasoned adventurers really going to screech and whimper because a small fire is started by a slide projector in the middle of a room? ? And the school bully not only knows the cast of Friends by heart, but he openly recites their names? (Wretch)

You see this blatant idiocy everywhere. They simply don't know how to write smart, capable girls in the presence of strong, capable boys. Since they can only think of strength and capability in masculine terms, and since on masculine terms boys will win out over girls, the boys have to either be rendered feminine, or removed entirely.

By 2x08 they're cr@pping on men openly. This went from a pleasant kid's romp in s1 to sorry garbage in s2.
