Circle the Wagen was edited on a laptop computer inside the Croc itself which was converted from a (semi)operational vehicle to an office by director Ryan Steven Green.
"The Croc" - or rather "Crocodile Rockford Jobs," which is the full name of Dave's baby blue 1972 Volkswagen Transporter Deluxe - was so named as a result of two disparate factors. First, at the time of winning the fateful eBay bid, Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" was playing on Dave's stereo. The final word, 'Jobs,' is a reference to the legend that Steve Jobs purportedly sold his Volkswagen bus to finance the first Apple computer. Conversely Dave, at the time of winning the Croc on eBay, was selling Apple computers at New York's 5th Ave. store to finance his first Volkswagen bus.
