Out of the Shadows

A bittersweet ending, in the fact that the killer was caught, but unfortunately got off on an insanity plea and the fact that the police fumbled the investigation. Good documentary in terms of relevant interviews and archival footage. Love the ode to the victims, they should always be remembered more than the killer.

I liked that story and how it was told(despite those feminists) but I'm really sad about police officers and the sentence The Ripper received.

After five years of terror, Sutcliffe's caught and faces trial. It's just so hard to imagine that he managed to get away with his crimes for so long.

Sutcliffe, there is something unnerving about those eyes of his. Forever remembered as one of Britain's worst mass killers, he managed to convince the authorities that he was not in control......

Those scenes if The Police sitting there forcing out a smile...... to then one selling his story, that's abhorrent, he messed up, and made a mint, shocking.

This felt pretty much like a hatchet job of The Police, perhaps deservedly so, the way this documentary bas portrayed events, it seems like they did get it badly wrong.

Netflix, you've done it again, another excellent series. 8/10.
