Ms. Pat: Y'all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?

Random scrolling brought me to this Netflix Stand-Up. She is so dark and cringy that at first I did not how to take it. Then I accepted that she was telling her story and it was so hilarious. I have never seen a comedian take me through so many emotions while I rolled on the floor laughing. 10/10 Must recommend.

I stumbled upon the 2022 stand-up comedy special "Ms. Pat: Y'all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?" by random chance as I was browsing through the stand-up comedy selection on Netflix. And never having heard about Patricia Williams before, I opted to give this show a chance.

While Ms. Pat had some charisma and felt at home on the stage, I must admit that the contents of the show, the material and the jokes were somewhat falling short of providing me with proper entertainment. I just couldn't relate to most of the material, and the excessive usage of the N-word just wore tired really, really fast. I am not a prude, but hearing that over and over again just becomes annoying really fast.

Truth be told then I didn't stick around to watch the entire show. I managed to sit through about half of it, then I just upped and ended it. I wasn't laughing at the jokes, and I was growing more and more annoyed with the constant usage of the N-word. So yeah, "Ms. Pat: Y'all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?" is not a show that I would recommend to people.

This special is so friggin great! Ms. Pat always bringing the laughs with her style of comedy! I luv how she is blunt & raw, with a totally unfiltered swearing mouth! This special is beyond hilarious i laughed so hard I was almost crying! I will be watching this again 4 sho! I hope to see her doing a live stand up at least once in my life.

This was my second time seeing Ms. Pat on Netflix. I saw her on the degenerates, noticed the name and decided to check her out.

Her life story is so fascinating, she had her first kid at age 12, got shot, is a convicted felon, but she's out here making us all laugh. I threw my back out I was laughing so hard.

Also after seeing the special I watched her podcast and saw her at JFL in Montreal. I was worried sh would run out of material, because she tells her life story here, but her life keeps going and she has so much more to tell. After seeing her I'm convinced that she will never out of funny stories, and she will never lose that gift she has to make the saddest things ever into the funniest thing ever.

She also has such a different experience from typical comedians so she is very surprising to listen to, you think you know what's coming, but never do.

Check her out, in all of her projects, this special is a great introduction to this phenomenal comedian.

A unique comic with stories for days.

My only critique is that the show seemed a bit condensed. I'd heard her stories on some podcasts, so I wasn't new to some of them as stories, and as bits they seemed a bit condensed or even rushed.

There's a whole to unpack in her life's story that hope she gets it out in any form.
