This was the perfect movie for our girls night! We kept pausing the movie to try and guess "who did it" and had an amazing time. Sheena Peña (Connie) was amazing! Her crying scenes gave me all the feels! Go watch!!!

Shot in the gorgeous backdrop of Honolulu, 'Secrets of an Escort' showcases all the beautiful sights that Hawaii has to offer and keeps you on your toes from start to finish! Sheena Peña, starring as Connie Anderson, really brought her character to life and you could sense the love and concern that she had for her daughter Christine.

Great performances by all and overall a very enjoyable movie for a cozy night in! :)

We are presented with suspense of who took the teenage daughter of our protagonist ,a divorced waitress who lives a double life as an escort to compensate for lawsuits with ex husband over custody of her teen daughter ; the drama is simple.

The protagonist has a sister as a cop, somehow she is not much help, eventually it is disclosed that one of her paramour's wife, her workplace colleague cum class fellow is the culprit.

The movie is watchable and a bit entertaining except the last few minutes when our protagonist becomes a reformed person ,she vows to leave the sultry past behind.

The director is mature in the sense that despite adult theme there is no lurid sex scene etc.

It could have been a good movie. The executive producer must have wanted a tropical vacation really bad. This production's cost was, at least, twice as much as it would have been if shot on the mainland. The casting director should never work in Hollywood again. The worst of the casting was the black detective. He looked and acted like a robot reading from cue cards. The detective sister was also poorly cast as well. The restaurant where Connie works, was the best of the locations. I've eaten there many times. It is NOT a hotel bar/restaurant, but the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor's restaurant. The other locations shot did NOT give Hawaii's beauty a chance. Overhead and distance shots were plenty, but no real beautiful ground shots of the flora and fauna.

Holes in the plots were many. First, the phone calls where there's only breathing. The detective sister could have pinged or looked up the number to find the ower/___location. The trashed hotel room: the hotel's surveillance cameras could have captured who came and went from that trashed room. These and more inaccuracies helped to ruin the movie.

The scenery was better than the movie! Filmed entirely in lush and tropical Honolulu. I want to go back! Connie moonlights as a call girl but freaks out when her teen daughter goes missing. Did one of her "johns" take her? Where is she? You will have to tune in to find out. Recommended for a one-time watch.
