Great comeback for Charlie Sheen

I had my doubts about this series, I figured it was a "in your face" to the producers of 'Two and a Half Men', and of course I thought it would be a flop, considering how crazy and outta hand Sheen was during that time. Well, I was wrong! This show is quite well done and hilarious! The entire premise of being an Anger Management counselor for a diverse group (outstanding ensemble btw) and the jail crew, was well out together. Great comeback Mr. Sheen!

one of the funniest comedies at the moment

I never thought that Sheen could pull it of after being a complete idiot when he was fired on two and a half man (which by the way gets less funnier by the episode), but he did it again and makes himself very likable.I think it's clever that Charlie makes fun of his own issues, which makes the show so much more hilarious. The strength of a good comedian is being able to make fun of himself in the first place. The dialogues are sharp and funny. The characters are coming more alive and funnier in every episode. I hope you Americans give the show a chance, instead of criticize so quickly, because I think the show has big potential.

A furious comedy

Well lets say Charlie does it again. The show is quite interesting with the fact Charlie hasn't changed much from d previous Charlie Harper we knew.

The script is good and the characters are spot on in there acting. The cast is a good mix and mix quite good with each other in the show.

The twist of Charlie's own anger issues and he himself being an anger management therapist is quite hilarious.

The show delivers excellent comic situations. Its been good for now. Hope it keeps going at the same pace.

However, at many situations which are supposed to funny ain't. They would have to work on that part. Also the entire show currently is evolving around only Charlie. That fact cannot be ignored. You cant expect 1 person to give it all. The other characters also need to be given a little more air time.

8/10 :)

Pretty good

It's good to see Charlie back in good form. He's one of those actors that makes acting look easy. Maybe it's because he IS the character he plays. Every episode gets better. I look forward to watching more of Anger Management and re-runs of him in his former show.

His expressions are priceless. As long as they keep challenging his character with other personalities, the show will do well. Make fun of his character, call him down, tease him, people love it. Gawd, whatever you do, don't make him a goody goody.

Sometimes the best best actors are not those acting but those that play exactly who are the characters they portray. Like his character in his former show, Two and a Half Men portrayed, he'll always come out doing okay. Go Charlie!

Two and a Half Men - 2

I really love this show! I was very upset when they fired Charlie Sheen from Two and a Half Men! But this show is a new version of "men"! And I love it! The character of Charlie Goodson is completely identical to Charlie Harper! It's funny show, great mood, funny jokes and I want to watch it more and more! It makes me laugh and it's all I want from the comedy show! I've watched all the episodes in one go!

I'm a big fan of Two and a Half Men and I love Ashton Kutcher but it's obvious that he is not able to save the show. Charlie Sheen was the soul of this show and they lost it. I still watch it, but only to see Kutcher in action. That's it. Two and a Half Men doesn't make me laugh as much as before.

If you miss the old version of Two and a Half Men you'll love Anger Management!

I love the show, keep it up!

Charlie's Anger Management

At the outset I must say that I am fan of Charlie, but honestly I'll try to be objective.Series I started to follow the truth just because Charlie, but little by little I began to draw stories, and actors about Charlie not ordinary mediocrity! Of course I have to admit that it is not even close series Two and a Half Men while Charlie played in it. I do not know whether to your delight or disappoint,But I'm sure that will make you laugh, and at least 25-28 minutes forget about the pain in your everyday life. Who knows, maybe someone has been detected in any of the characters, and believe me there is a wide aspects such as the characters and their characteristics. It's not called for nothing Anger Management! in a sea of various sitcoms This is at least a class apart from other! I repeat, it is not Two and a Half Men as long as he plays Charlie. But your sincere smile. I gave her 8 for Charlie, but honestly 7 of 10

Enjoyable and funny

If you liked 2.5 Men, you'll like this show. I like it more, personally. I like the larger cast, I do not miss Allen one wee bit, and it is great to see Charlie Sheen working and on track. It was a delight to see Miss Butler back as well - good for her, and good for second chances.

The women in the show are delightful - smart, funny, alive. I had pretty much stopped watching 2.5 Men due to repetitive and/or outlandish plot lines, and several regular characters that had become boring, predictable, and tiresome.

The show is light and funny and the characters well-developed and charismatic. Every single character in this show is well-cast and somehow they all manage to mesh and become truly connected.

Got withdrawal symptoms? then Anger Management is a real remedy.

Well the show, is using similar structure to 2.5 Men, but it is not a copy. No Sir. Similar in the sense, that there are pretty women, but they are not half dressed, and not as many. If there are , they are relevant to the story, and not just eye candy. There is Charlie, his sponging ex-wife, whom he has to care for, from time to time – and there is their teenage daughter. Writing started off a bit weak in series one, but it is getting better now. There are some real gem moments in series two specially. You get laughs as hard as 2.5 Men, perhaps not as many, but they are there. Acting, is good from most protagonists, but "Shawnee" is probably the weakest of the lot. I would have wished, it was not so similar to 2.5, but hey, Charlie is a businessman, if it works - why change it! Over all, if like me, you stopped watching 2.5 Men after a few episodes with Ashton in it, and experience withdrawal symptoms - then Anger Management is a real remedy. I like it, and I think you will too.

Been watching this all season

So, i've been watching Anger Management all season and didn't spend a second thinking of writing a review, and today, as the 16th episode airs, i feel the time is due.

Or rather, i've been laughing too much to write.

Aner Management is the show that everyone (i.e. "me") though was going to be horrible, as Charlie Sheen's previous Two And A Half Man had gone down the "tedious, washed out repeats" route around.. well, the second season. Also the characters had undergone massive Flanderization, making it pretty much unwatchable.

But surprisingly enough, AM has all the traits i like in a sitcom - it's funny without being forced, it relies on stories more than character traits, has interesting characters to place in said stories, and it's reasonably faithful to itself.

All traits which eventually lead a show down the aforementioned boring slope, but it's only natural, as shows can't be good forever.

And i don't believe AM will be funny forever, but as now, it's pretty good.

Anyway, if you like sex jokes, stupidity, cameos, physical humour, and simple yet effective jokes, Anger Management is for you.

My final vote: anything between a 7 and an 8, depending on how demanding of intellectual stimulus you are. (hopefully, not too much)

Can't Believe it took me So Long to Review This!

I thought Two and a Half Men was OK. It had its weak points, weak characters (Jake), and come on are you kidding me episode plot writing. But, here is an in your face to Chuck Lorre from Charlie Sheen. It's a grand slam. Out of the park. Better and more satisfying than Two and a Half. Funny stuff, well written, jokes keep coming. There is however one huge flaw in the show... they are too damned short! I always end one I am watching with the feeling it should be at least twice as long. 40 minutes is not too long for a great premise episode with strong writing and very well cast actors. Seriously, it disappoints me every time an episode ends. Let's face it... what are they... 20 minutes at best? But, thank God the twenty minutes is there, Sheen had the guts to go it alone, and he picked a damned good bunch of actors to star with. Nothing funnier than gay men interacting in a straight world. They could have done much more with the character. Lacy is sexy, hot, and sells her part. Nolan is the typical stoner, but soft and fuzzy with a good heart. And of course, no comedy is complete without the "no filter" in his speech like a grumpy old man. All the female guest actresses are hot, of course. I think perhaps the Brian Austin Green character... Sean... is a bit cloudy, without a hard crystallization of his personna. He seems to be all over the map without a finished character. But, this is nit picking. Watch, enjoy, repeat.

Quick Tip: Don't start a show with 40 characters

Problems:
  • Too many characters
  • 4 nicest persons have unending anger therapy
  • 1 of them, as you guessed it right, is gay
  • Charlie has too much dialogs
  • Intro and the music is TOO LOUD
  • Since there are too many characters, some of them just waits there to land 1 sentence and leave. Very cringe

Goods: + Charli's new neighbor and that new blonde therapist nailed it!
