Emotional Erection

Costello plucks up the courage to abandon a life in Bruton with Selby, for one back at the family home, a place where she's made to confront her past. Costello calls for Allegra to help Selby.

The story is starting to come together, the various strands are being unpicked, and the jigsaw is coming together, we get a few clues as to why Costello and Selby have been drawn together, what exactly it is that binds them.

Things went very dark very quickly, it's been quite obvious that Selby has some real problems, we get more of an idea as to why, and we get to understand a bit more what happened to Costello, that was a very shocking moment.

Once again, Anna Chancellor adds a real touch of class to the proceedings, as always she's terrific, that scene between Allegra and Selby was surreal, funny and truly uncomfortable.

A few tinges of humour, but they're lost in the darker moments.
