The Initiative

Having just watched the first episode of "Tires," I find myself disappointed with the overall execution. The plot feels unwatchable and poorly constructed, making it hard to stay engaged with the show. While some of the jokes manage to land and provide genuine laughs, they are few and far between.

The show seems to rely heavily on these sporadic moments of humor to carry it forward, but this approach feels lazy. There's a noticeable lack of cohesive storytelling, with episodes appearing to be strung together merely to move from one joke to the next, without any meaningful consideration for the overarching narrative.

If you were to watch a compilation of the greatest moments, you might find it entertaining. However, as a complete episode, "Tires" fails to deliver a satisfying or engaging experience. It feels like the creators put little thought into the show's totality, resulting in a disjointed and ultimately unenjoyable viewing experience.

The show was annoying, humorless, and predictable. I couldn't stomach the first episode. Shane's acting and storyline were less than. Mediocre, and the potty humor felt tired. Netflix's choice was disappointing. The lack of originality left me unimpressed, and I won't be tuning in for more. It's a shame, as I had hoped for better from the platform. Perhaps they should reconsider their content selection process. Overall, a forgettable and much like this podcast, a "meh" experience. Or should I say... "Blech". I understand that there are fans of him and his humor and it's clear who his fanbase is and it's not me.
