Even Salt Looks Like Sugar

Honestly not a big lover of shorts i always think its super hard to get a story across in such a short space of time unless its a silent movie or music video. Saw this ad pop up on social networks gave it a go. Slow pacing to begin with but boy does it pick up it makes every little nuance make sense and add depth to the story.

Overall its about to brothers whom were neglected as children in vicious ways. One having a great life as an adult and the other not letting go of the past and they finally reunite and decide to murder their parents.

Loved every beat and moment within great actors, great writing.

Well done to those involved.

Wowowowowowowowowowowowow. Not just writing this because Cal's my g - was so stunned with this emotionally performance by both actors involved a true testament to the art. A real showpiece could see this being a play also. WHEN DO WE GET A PART 2 B ! - Its nice to see a UK film piece thats not all gang and viole- actually there's violence in this. Nonetheless raw and gripping, big well done to everyone involved excited to see the cast and crews future projects. Could of easily sat through another hour;back story wheres the mum how did they kill dad so many questions!

Even diving into this film with a little knowledge of the film, it is still very dark and very well portrayed by the two leads. They did a great job with pacing & character arks. The acting was great I loved the different points of view. Sometimes the story does thrust you between who you should root for out of the brothers as they're both great.

It shows the boundaries pushed by what you cannot control your family by blood (no pun intended).

Feel like its been played out before so some conversations can feel familiar but still a great watch.

Only short would recommend give it a go & would be interesting to see who you root for Sam,Noah or neither?

Triggering, disturbing & brutally in the grasp of some peoples reality. Masterfully reali life incidents to screen. Slow to begin with, still on edge of my seat, third act sent chills down my spine.

Both leads Callen & Kadell deliver great performances; the nuances and small details of every emotion they potrayed truly deserve praise. They nailed the insanity of murdering their dad whilst having soft comedic moments along with emotions giving them both great depth.

Though as usual in film its a bit glorified, still very well done! The score enhaunced the overall visual tension capturing the dark tone perfectly.
