Johnny contritely goes to a nearby town to apply for unemployment. He tries to borrow Roland's truck but Roland makes so many conditions, Johnny decides to leave. He then test drives a piece of junk for sale by the gas station guy, but the radiator blows on the way. He has to call Roland to take him to the unemployment office. When he gets there he is shown to be utterly clueless, thinking that anyone without a job can just come and ask for money. Alexis goes out with the vet and has to get him to man up. Great episode.

In the scene where Alexis and Ted are eating at Cafe Tropical, the town's diner/coffee shop, it appears that Ted is a southpaw, a left handed person, since he holds his fork in his left hand.

Blooper
When Johnny walks up to ask Roland if he can borrow his truck, Roland is mowing his front yard. You can loudly hear the sound of the mower running, and see exhaust smoke coming out of the machine. The mower is running at full speed (judging by the sound of the mower), yet little puffs of exhaust that are barely moving are seen coming out of the exhaust muffler. The smoke very apparently has been added in post-production with CGI, and the sound was added in, too. The lawn mower was obviously not running during the filming.
