This story was originally developed as a one man show first performed by writer/actor Matt Weinglass in October of 2013. Three years later, over 40 actors (including Judd Nelson and Peter Shinkoda) would gather to perform the first table read of the screenplay on the same stage it was conceived.
This story is based on real life events told by writer Matt Weinglass who worked as a bouncer on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood in the early 2000s.
In February 2017, a staged reading was held with over 50 actors at The Sherry Theater in North Hollywood for the new screenplay which will now serve as the first chapter of a three part film trilogy.
