M. Night Shyamalan

Has anybody noticed that this is credited as a remake of P. T. A's movie 'Magnolia'? I can't think of a single reason why. Maybe because of the first letter in both works being 'M'... but then why is the movie 'M' not credited as a prequel? I don't understand.

M. Night, that is. A young prodigy who was behind many of the biggest movies of their time: a screenplay, a writer, a director, an actor, a producer - and a great talk show guest as well! (That's his sixth sense, I was told.) Imagine if he had produced a movie based on Norm's writings? That could've been huge - bigger than the Moth joke. Lots of deliciously interesting tidbits of cinema trivia and good jokes in this episode. M. Night surely has a good sense of humour and he really paired up well with Norm. He could've even replaced Adam as the sidekick in some universe? Who knows. Talking about sidekicks: Norm reminds me of Andy Kaufman: he accelerates like a solid rocket booster from 0 to 20 000 mph - just to crash on a wall and then speed up again. Sidekick? Andy? That reminds of a certain Swedish-German feller. Anyhoo, we can say that M. Night Shyamalan visited at the studio on Norm's show... or did he?
