Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) :
Brief Review -
A Stylish Mass Body with No Brain Attached. AVPL rides highly on Allu Arjun's swag and eventually there's no other surviving factor in it. Before watching Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, you have to decide what you want to watch. If you're looking for a quality entertainer then please don't even think of watching it. But, if you're looking for a popcorn entertainer, when you can concentrate more on the flavour of your popcorn than the screen, then don't forget to watch AVPL on any weekend of your choice. The film starts on a ridiculous note but that's like a warm up. It gives you the idea about what you are going to see in the next 150 minutes. If you can hold yourself for an hour or so then be assured, you'll feel satisfied by the end. Every fight scene in the film is so stylish and so highly decorated that you may find it brainless but not irritating. Well, that's one of the USPs of the film is that despite being a stylish body with no brain, it never really becomes a headache. Yes, some scenes are too terrible for today's times, I mean even 70s masala entertainer had more logic but it's a complete package of entertainment for the TV audience. If they can endure those crappy daily soaps then this is much better. Murali Sharma did his best to win the Worst Actor award, not just with that crippled leg but crippled expressions too. However, there is one thing that lifts it up and that's Allu Arjun and his larger-than-life, out-and-out stylish image. Additionally, the second half shows some growth in IQ level after that senseless first half. That meeting room scene is hysterically massy. LIT! Rest of the cast is there only to fill the screen, and direction is strictly below average. Overall, a typical family drama with hit numbers, enough dose of entertainment and towered-tall, stylish swag of Allu Arjun. The TV audience can go berserk over it. They deserve it. That's one way to troll, ain't it?

Not liked much. Very artificial family scenes, no sentimental. Very artificial acting of Allu Arjun. Bad dance from Allu arjun, he is no more energetic in this movie.

Director Trivikram takes us right away into the plot from scene 1. Two lives swapped during their birth and the consequences that follow make up this movie. But the plot after 1st half follows usual route of 'hero fixing his family issues as an external agent' seen in countless other Telugu family drama movie. Eventually, that makes this film a dull one. Thaman's music is brilliant and choreographed brilliantly supported by Allu Arjun's moves. A good, not so boring watch in Netflix!!

Shehzada, the forthcoming Kartik Aryan starrer, is its official Hindi remake.
The plot seemed a potpourri of several of David Dhawan's /Anees Bazmi's/ Rohit Shetty's slapstick films. There are a few scenes of genuine hilarity, some of forced humor, many of shockingly in-your-face misogynism, with lots of people flying around, after being kicked by Allu Arjun. I can easily imagine all of this getting lots of claps and whistles in the theatres.
What kept me engaged almost throughout is Allu Arjun's performance. He brings so much intensity to such an insane script, both in the comic scenes and especially in the action ones. For the life of me, I am unable to imagine Kartik Aryan chewing up the scenery in the violent sequences, which are quite a few.
The film has commercial appeal, despite (or perhaps, because of) serving low brow entertainment.
Also, this is NOT available in Hindi on any OTT platform and the production house has also not gone over the top with the fact that it is a remake of a barely 3 year old film that is available on Netflix.
If Kartik Aryan can get his action act right, then this can be his Bhool Bhulaiya 2 level blockbuster for this year.

The songs & actors of this film are good and the film is such that once you see it, forget it. The action scenes are typical South Indian style, mostly Allu Arjun fans will like it. Sometimes the film starts feeling boring in terms of screenplay. I saw this film because it was Allu's highest grosser, don't know how? It's just average entertainer film. But I can suggest other films of the star, they are much better then this. I'm also big fan of indian masala films also allu arjun's movies. But for the ala vaikunthpurmloo, it is not the list of best allu arjun's masala movies. It is my thoughts.

The story of the movie is ridiculous. I didn't think I would have to watch a movie with such a story at this time. It reminded me of the 90's. Weird stories and weird fights!
What a disgrace, very little storyline, hilarious direction. Allu Arjun as always rocked it. But what a pathetic storyline, direction. Buttaboma is the only thing to watch in the movie. Doesn't live up to the hype.

Everything was so good about this movie except the story it self. First half was good indeed but in the second half the story starts falling down and the ending of the movie was up to the mark either.
Don't have a clue how a movie with such weak script becomes a blockbuster. May be its Allu Arjun's stardom that made this movie earn a huge numbers of money.

Simple to say story is kind of intresting but not the film,it is kind of lagged ive seen many south indian films they were all kind of same not all but some movies.there are some scenes in the film felt like unnecessary i think its a mixed up just to entertain fans and to do business out of them thats it.
