  • So wholesome I wanted to die

I seriously was just saying 'awwwww' the entire time I was watching this show. The stop animation was just flawless. Seeing what they think pokémon's textures would be was so cool. Some were furry, some smooth.... they are just so freaking adorable it's insane. It just has cute little messages through it but it's suitable for everyone to enjoy!

Highly recommend, I'm reviewing at episode 4 because so far that's all out but I can only see it getting more fun as we go further down the track. I especially love the jungle environment and all the free roaming little pokemon enjoying themselves and the friendly characters.

  • Entertaining and crass

I'm late to the party here but this is a great series so far. Harley is edgey, slick, and a little stupid but she's just the best. Can't wait to catch up and see what Kaley gets up to 🤣

The casting is really good, I'm not happy I have to write so many characters for a show I've only seen one episode of but if you love cartoons, comics, well drawn and cast characters and cartoon gore with tonnes of innuendo and naughty words then this is definitely a show you'll enjoy. I wish I knew about it in 2019 that's for sure, it's entertaining as hell. I don't know why it feels so nostalgic it's like they made it for me as an adult!

  • that was wild

I really enjoyed this, I thought I would at first, then half way through I thought I wouldn't and then some stuff happened and I changed my mind. Lots of gore, tonnes of sex (which I guess we expected?!) no twists or anything, but it was still an entertaining film.

I tend to enjoy modern slashers set in the 70s/80s/90s etc purely for the lack of technology to make things easier for victims 🤣

Anyway, this was on my watch list for a while and the acting was great, it was entertaining the entire way through and had some great little slashy bits all through it. Wasn't sure who was going to make it out alive, if anyone!

  • Strange strange strange?

This was a very '2022' movie. If there's a woke phrase or word that could be used to describe the way people talk online, this film has them all.

Pete Davidson was funny as per usual, it was kinda slow in parts, but it has little bits where things start to add up. The cast was really good, seems like a group of people who didn't like each other very much but stayed friends because they didn't feel like they had any other options or prospects in life since they all came from money.

I waited so long to see this film I feel like it was a letdown in comparison to what I had built it up in my mind, but it was definitely worth a watch and enjoyable.

  • probably would have been crap if no stars in it

It's a fun movie with good effects and a lot of laughs - I watched it on a whim but usually I'm into more actual horror.

I enjoyed the concept, as always Dave Franco plays a dag but it works really well for him. Snoop is a legend and a total badass, and you'd expect nothing less from him.

Jamie Foxx is great, well the entire cast is great. Did we always have to use 600 characters to write these reviews???

Like my title says, if it wasn't star studded it honestly probably wouldn't have been as good as it was, but that's true for many movies I suppose.

Watch if you have 2 hours to kill and no real expectations of a Vampire Hunting movie.

  • Someone gave this a 1 because they thought it was meant to be a comedy...

This isn't a comedy - this is a strange, but incredibly engaging and compelling social experiment that has smaller social experiments within it.

Is it flawed in a way? Yes.

BUT - it is a new idea, it's interesting, it's awkward and the actors (especially the children) are all incredible. I have felt so awkward during most of these episodes, but not for the wrong reasons. Sometimes I yell at the screen because I'm so confused by Nathan's way of seeing the world, but it's also important to understand how important perspective is. He delivers this serious beautifully, it's not even finished yet and I'm confident it'll end perfectly.

  • Enjoyable and creepy

Ethan Hawke is a creepy dude - and he really delivers. I didn't want to see him as evil, but I've seen Taking Lives so I guess I know it suits him.

The entire thing is creepy, the protagonist speaks to the past victims on a phone that doesn't actually work, and they all help him find ways to get out of the basement and break the cycle of this child abduction and murder.

It's not the best film I've ever seen but as far as a little bit of good gross makeup goes and some great acting, it's definitely worth watching.

  • I had to turn it off

The first few mins got me - and influencer gives a shallow, very fake thanks to her subscribers (it seems legit then she spits the stuff out off camera) for the gifts she receives from them, and then dies because she eats poison gummy bears someone sends her while she's live streaming. Or does she die? I dunno, they mention she just 'disappeared' even though she was foaming at the mouth like she had rabies.

Her acting was fine, but it just went downhill from here....

The acting of all the other cast members was SO BAD. It was like they were reading their lines directly off the screen. The sound was also all over the place. Someone would speak and it would be turned up so loud, and the others were normal volume standing right next to the loud one. Like their mics didn't work.

Do not recommend, I think I lasted maybe 10 mins tops.

  • Fun and gross!

I don't get the reviews giving this a 10 and saying it's the best thing they've ever seen and it's off its chops - but that's subjective, people might think that genuinely so whatever. I also don't get the really bad reviews about it being a crap bad quality B grade film - this isn't a realistic film by any means and I don't think it tries to be, so complaining about the 'twist' or the effects is kinda moot.

Anyway, this was an insanely entertaining film.

Gore? Check Decent special effects? Check Cool plot line and adequate 'twist'? Check

The only real downside was some of the lines the characters said felt like they fell right out of a hallmark card, a lifetime film that would be shown at midday on a Tuesday. But if you look past some of the cheese the premise is good, it's interesting, you won't be bored for a second either. Maybe if you're someone having issues conceiving this won't be the film for you as it does have mentions of miscarriage, and elements of DV as well.
