The latest re-imagination of The Stepford Wives.
What is it about men and their supposed desire for the complete and utter subjugation of women. Yes, you can say it's fantasy, but why, I ask why??? It can only be the real fantasies of some real men. Sickening, really.
Well, I don't think the acting was that bad. Some of the reviews seem to be taking the movie concept out on the actors. Incidentally, one of the main characters - Rupert - seems to be uncredited. Perhaps he realised what a crock this is - one can only hope.
I'm giving it a 5 because I think that some of the supporting cast only appear in these kind of movies because they need the money and hope for some sort of recognition. Shame.

This movie reminded me of that old film "Love Story" with Ryan O'Neal and Ali Mcgraw. But, whereas that film was touching and left me blubbering in tears, this left me strangely unmoved.
I kept waiting for something big to happen, but it never did. I felt the lead played by Florence Pugh to be pig headed and selfish. Not once did she seem to really be in love with Andrew Garfield, even at the end. Lots of swearing with f bombs deluxe.
What was the scene with her family all about - the two of them stood like idiots whilst she and her family ignored them - how rude. Runs in the family, I guess.
Anyway,
