Here's the thing: This movie is not great. It's not even that good. But I'll still watch it anytime I remember it exists. The plot is hard to follow and having to see Ashley's face after his awful behavior has come out is not my favorite thing in the world, but I'll still sing along to every song and laugh at what middle-school me thought was incredibly deep and thought-provoking acting. I love this movie all the same. I love the cinematography and I love explaining to my friends how much they have to see this garbage movie. I'd recommend this to anyone who thinks they've gotten over/out of their emo phase because this movie will drag you right back.
