I was waiting for this, hoping it would be as fresh as Girls used to be, but instead, it's surprisingly boring, dreadfully boring.
Surprisingly unfunny or trying too hard to be funny.
Those office characters-we've see them in every Netflix show that has an office.
There's nothing fresh about the show.
The Girls had such brilliant dialogue that if you missed any part of it, you were losing something; here, the conversations mean nothing to the viewer-they're empty, just private babble that makes you feel like you're wasting your time watching it.
Oh, and the main character feels like an extension of her character from Hacks - is that intentional?

No idea why they stretched it out over three episodes.
In light of the tragedy that struck Nora and her family, it's painful to say - but the series won't bring them much sympathy, simply because of how poorly it was made.
For three episodes it was just moaning about how terrible it was for the family.
On top of that, it's all chaos. It's hard to follow the sequence of the events it's so boring and badly done.
Because we're listening to all this crying and moaning for three whole episodes, we start to lose any sense of sympathy as it becomes grotesque.
For three episodes it's just: "It was horrible," "It was sad," "I suffered," "I used to be cheerful, now I'm not," "Dad used to be cheerful, now he's not." I couldn't wait for it to end.

Season three is just total cringe at this point. After season 1 I gave it a 6, but I have to lower it to a 5-and that 5 is only because of the actresses (minus Charlotte), because without them it would be 1.
Whoever is writing this is turning these women into a walking manifestation of the idea: "a vain, out-of-touch wealthy person, becomes childish in old age." Their problems feel like something out of a children's show. What's going on with Aidan now is so humiliating for Carrie that I can't believe it's even supposed to be the same character.
Kristin Davis in SATC, when she was younger, somehow got away with her acting. But now, her cartoonish facial expressions are just idiotic and give me secondhand embarrassment.
The storylines-an entire episode about a text message, the rats, the painfully scripted dialogue, the overly staged scenes-are unbearable. The only reason this show isn't completely unwatchable is thanks to SJP, Cynthia Nixon, Sarita Choudhury, and Nicole Ari Parker-because that mashed potato was badly written.
This show isn't about love issues faced by women in their 50s when it comes to love. It's just random scenes from the life of the top 1%.
