Rand Bishop began his career as a recording artist for a series of major labels. As a Grammy-nominated, BMI Award-winning, Million-play songwriter, Bishop now counts in excess of 300 diverse credits: from the Beach Boys to Toby Keith, Heart to Indigo Girls. Along the way, he toured extensively as a rock 'n' roller, sang on countless sessions as a studio vocalist, produced hundreds of records and film soundtracks, and spent years behind desks as a talent development executive and music publisher.

Bishop the author of four books: My List, 24 Reflections on Life's Priorities (McGraw-Hill, 2003) Makin' Stuff Up (Weightless Cargo Press, 2008) The Absolute Essentials of Songwriting Success (Alfred Music Publishing, 2010) and Grand Pop (Eloquent Books, 2010)

If those accomplishments weren't more than enough, Bishop is an award-winning screenwriter, produced playwright, songwriting coach, and author. At the end of the day, he refers to himself simply as "a writer."
