John Scott is the founder and artistic director of The Hollywood Symphony Orchestra Society. The organization is dedicated to preserving and presenting works by contemporary composers of film and television music in a setting worthy of their creative gifts and talents. The Hollywood Symphony Orchestra Society honors an art form heard too rarely on the concert stage to its full dramatic effect. Concerts by the world-class Hollywood Symphony Orchestra present symphonic film music from composers of the silver screen's Golden Age to emerging talents, providing a glimpse into the history of film music and exposure to future classics by our greatest composers.
