Chadwick Boseman was an American actor. He is known for his portrayal of T'Challa / Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2016 to 2019, particularly in Black Panther (2018), and for his starring roles as several pioneering Americans, Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013), James Brown in Get on Up (2014), and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall (2017). He also had choice parts in The Express (2008), Draft Day (2014), and Message from the King (2016). Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he attended Howard University and studied at the Oxford Mid-Summer Program for acting, before moving to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue his craft on the big screen. He died in 2020, after a four year bout with colon cancer, during which time he had starred in several of the biggest movies ever made.

Cass began his career in the motion picture industry as an extra - but soon he was alternating between acting parts and stunt work. The stunt work eventually prevailed and Cass went on to become one of Hollywood's top stunt co-ordinators and Second Unit Directors. This led to his producing several films which, in turn, led to first-unit directing.

Dave has co-produced Miramax Films' Texas Rangers (2001); a trio of Burt Reynolds' TV movies titled Hard Time (1998), for the TNT network - writing one episode, and directing another, Hard Time: The Premonition (1999). He has also co-written several other films including Enter the Devil (1972) and Hard Ground (2003). Dave was the director of The Hallmark Channel's mini-series, Johnson County War (2002), another take on the infamous Wyoming cattle wars, this one an adaptation by Larry McMurtry. Cass has directed two Gentle Ben TV movies, plus Night of the Wolf (2002), starring Anne Archer and Robert Urich, for Animal Planet.

And from Hallmark, again, David directed a city girl/country boy love story, Straight from the Heart (2003), which garnered the highest ratings ever for a Hallmark Channel TV Movie.

Alexander Zale (aka J. Zakkai) has performed a variety of compelling roles while working with cutting-edge theatre ensembles, playwrights, and directors. He began his acting career in the role of Solly in 1959 with the Living Theatre's international hit, The Connection, by Jack Gelber, and went on to play George Garga in Brecht's In the Jungle of Cities and Rico Veri in Pirandello's Tonight We Improvise. Following two European tours with the Living Theatre, he stayed in Italy to work with Vittorio Gassman's company, Teatro Popolare Italiano, and traveled with it to the Aldwych Theatre in London. After returning to the U.S., he got involved with the off-off-Broadway movement, then in its infancy, at the Judson Poet's Theater and La Mama. During this time, he wrote his first play, Vapors, which was presented at the O'Neill Playwrights Conference. He went on to perform at several regional theaters, including The Arena Stage, in Washington, D.C. Back in New York, he was cast as Beaujo in Sam Shepard's Geography of a Horse Dreamer at the Manhattan Theatre Club. Ellen Stewart, founder of La Mama, introduced him to director Andrei Serban. So began an artistic collaboration that led to his appearance as Jason in Serban's highly successful production of Medea, which, after a run in New York, toured Europe. He then took on the title role in Serban's Agamemnon at Lincoln Center, which was also presented at the Delacorte. Following that he appeared as Sender in The Dybbuk, directed by Joe Chaikin at Joseph Papp's Public Theatre. Back at La Mama, he was Azdak in Brecht's Caucasian Chalk Circle, then the title role in Goethe's Faust, Part 1, both directed by German director, Fritz Bennewitz. He then went to Los Angeles for the first time to work in film and television, and returned to New York to appear as Burgandy in Henry V, as well as Tanchum in The Golem, both at the Delacorte. At the Center Stage in Baltimore, he played the lead role of Victor Mehta in David Hare's A Map of the World, then worked with director Daniel Sullivan at the Seattle Rep in Red Square as Roosevelt Weinglass. Alexander moved to Los Angeles, where he continues to perform in theatre (Morocco, Ondine, The Disputation, Taking Sides, Flags, The Cherry Orchard) as well as film and television.

Elia Schneider was a Venezuela-born US-based filmmaker, writer, and director. Her most recent films as a director were Tamara (2016), Desautorizados (2010), and A Dot and a Line (2004). She was nominated four times for the Venezuelan Official Selection to the Academy Awards. Tamara (2016) won more than 10 international film awards. A Dot and a Line (2004) won more than two dozen international film awards. Desautorizados (2010) was nominated for the Golden Goblet Award at the Shanghai Film Festival-Category "A".

The founder of Joel Films, Schneider produced Sicario (1994), which won 34 international awards; Oro diablo (2000), which won 10 international awards; El Don (2006); Un lugar lejano (2010); God's Slave (2013); and Solo (2014). Her film Glue Sniffer (1999) was censored by Venezuelan authorities before being released to huge success at the box office.

Schneider graduated with a degree in Psychology from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) and then attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned her MFA in Theater Directing. Since 1982, she had written and directed award-winning plays based on Kafka, most of them opening Off-Broadway in New York. She founded Teatro Dramma (in 1982). Her stage plays ("A Petición del Público", " Blumfeld", " Gaz", " Stasis", "Rooms", "Oedipus Rex", "The Lesson", and "Emigrants") received favorable critical notice of relevant press. Her play "Judgment on the Gray Beach" opened at La Mama in 2015 and received excellent reviews.

Schneider was a Faculty Member at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles where she taught her prestigious workshop ( Fundamentals of Theater-Adler Technique). At the time of her death from cancer at age 68 in 2020, she was in pre-production for her next film project, "The Black Stork".
